The IOTGuru Open/Close Sensor is a magnetic contact sensor that sensors a door being open or closed. The sensor can be mounted in a wireless version with a battery back up of 12 months depending on reading intervals. The sensor can also be a wired version if required. The sensor then is wired or paired to a main gateway that forwards and records the information into a database that can be interogated and viewed by customers. The solution can have one probe moving upto 200 probes customizable to the clients requests. This solution is used in applications to monitor doors open or closed such as on a fridge where it is vitally important to keep the doors closed at all times keeping temperature levels at their lowest. Or in a server room where equipment funtions at a certain temperature and malfunctions when exceeding ceertain temperatures.
